As we reflect on 2025, we are deeply grateful for your unwavering generosity and support. Your contributions have allowed us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many within our parish boundaries and the surrounding community. Below is a summary of our accomplishments and the impact of your kindness, thank you:

Overview of Activities

  • 264 home visits completed, assisting 88 families, including 133 children and 221 adults.
  • Your ‘Neighbours-In-Need’ donations totaled $32749, while our expenditures were $36040.
  • ‘Gifts-in-kind’ donations were valued at $2000.
  • We began the year with $1591 in cash and $8113 in gift cards. By year’s end, we had a surplus of $299 in cash (just made it) and $7967 in gift cards.

Support Provided

Your donations enabled us to offer vital assistance to those in need, including:

  • Food assistance: PC gift cards totaling $26125.
  • Clothing and personal items: Gift cards for Salvation Army, National Thrift, and Walmart totaling $50.
  • Furniture and beds: Items from our SSVP store and donated goods valued at $4305.
  • Transportation support: Presto tickets totaling $1,577.
  • Winter coats for kids: In collaboration with the Knights of Columbus, 39 winter coats were distributed, costing $395.
  • Back-to-school assistance: Walmart gift cards helped 54 children, costing $1,350.
  • Summer camp for children: 19 children attended boys and girls camps, still not at levels prior to pre-pandemic participation.

Christmas Appeal Highlights

During our Christmas Appeal, we supported 63 families and 93 children, providing:

  • Food assistance: PC gift cards totaling $9250.
  • Gifts for children: Walmart gift cards for those under 16, totaling $3255.
  • Transportation: Presto tickets valued at $284.
  • Christmas cheer: A box of Christmas cookies for each family, totaling $630.

Special Events

Our Bundle-Up Weekends in April and September were a resounding success, thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of our parishioners.
