Talking Matters
This endearing award-winning play tells the story of David and Inga, two elderly residents in a long-term care home. The drama reveals their struggles with language and memory and their longing for respect and dignity. It portrays both challenges in caring for people with mild cognitive deficits and opportunities for caregivers to help boost their memory and cognitive powers by engaging them in talk. The actors play characters dealing with dementia in one form or another.
This presentation takes about 50 minutes and there will be approx. 20 minutes for questions and answers.
You are all cordially invited to this most informative event.
