Volunteers – Thank You!

The Archdiocese of Toronto’s Volunteer Appreciation Week: Volunteering Weaves Us Together will be celebrated from April 16-22, 2023, in alignment with Volunteer Canada’s National Volunteer Week.
This is a time of thanks and appreciation for our volunteers who selflessly serve our parish community with their unique gifts that weave our community together, following the example of Jesus and in response to His call to service for each of us.
There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit; there are different forms of service but the same Lord; there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in everyone
1 Corinthians 12: 4-6
Every day across the Archdiocese of Toronto, parishioners generously give their time and talent to nurture and strengthen the community and share the Gospel. We recognize that our parish volunteers are at the heart of the Archdiocesan call to stewardship and are instrumental in all that we do. We thank each one of you, from the tireless work of Volunteer Screening Coordinators and Committee Members, Church Cleaners, Liturgical Hospitality Teams, Eucharistic Ministers, Ushers, Choirs, Collection Counters, Ministry Leaders, to the faith-affirming efforts of Catechists, Lay Pastoral Visitors, and Baptismal Preparation teams, and so many other volunteers. |
