REFLECTION

In today’s Gospel, Jesus calls us to trust in God’s care rather than give in to fear. St. Francis de Sales reminds us that anxiety often comes from our strong desire to escape difficulties or control outcomes. When we feel this uneasiness, we are invited to pause, place ourselves in God’s presence, and allow our hearts to become calm before acting. Instead of rushing or reacting out of fear, we should act with peace, guided by reason and faith. God asks us to trust Him, not our own efforts alone. Through prayer, patience, and openness with others, we find relief and strength. Let us place our confidence in God’s constant love, knowing He cares for us and never abandons us. Those who trust in Him will bear great fruit.

BEFORE YOU FIX YOUR WEDDING DATE

Thinking about doing your wedding in the Church? Great move! The way to go is to call the parish office and schedule an appointment with the priest at least 12 months before your desired wedding date. It is a requirement in the Catholic Archdiocese of Toronto.

Hoping for the best for you as you process and make this important life-long decision

Happy Father’s Day!

We give thanks for all fathers and father figures in our parish community. May God bless you with strength, wisdom, and joy as you reflect His love in your families each day.
