REFLECTION

No one who was gathered in the upper room on Pentecost could have missed the presence of the Holy Spirit. A strong, driving wind, tongues of fire, and the apostles speaking in different languages: it was clear that Jesus’ promise of the Spirit coming upon them had been fulfilled. But that promise wasn’t just for the apostles long ago: it’s for us today as well. So let’s take this opportunity on this great feast to pray for a greater out-pouring of the Spirit in our lives. “Holy Spirit, as you did with the disciples on Pentecost, empower your people today. Together may we preach the good news and build your kingdom on earth!”

SUPPORT FOR MARYGROVE CAMP

This summer, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul will be operating both Marygrove and Camp Ozanam for the first time since 2019. 100% of the operating funds for Marygrove Camp come from annual camp collection that is held in Archdiocese parishes. This year, the collection will be on the weekend of June 11th and 12th. Please offer any support that you can to make this collection a success. The success of the camps and ensuring the children have the opportunity to attend this summer camp adventure relies on your generous donations. Thank you for your support!
