REFLECTION

What does it mean to travel to heaven with Jesus? It means that we must follow him as he resolutely takes the road to Jerusalem and the passion. This journey will not be graced with self-serving miracles or special preferment. Lack of hospitality and rejection along the way, and a precarious life without human security were the lot of Jesus on earth. There is no time to waste on the road to God; we must be willing to give up everything in order to achieve our goal.

MESSAGE FROM CWL PRESIDENT, THERESE BADURIA

On behalf of the Catholic Women’s League, I sincerely thank each and everyone of you who supported our Parish Bazaar on June 28, 2022. After two years of not having any parish events because of the pandemic, it proved once again that our St. Joseph parish community is alive! Shout out to all of you who baked, potted plants, gave their gently used items, donated their resources, and volunteered to help out, including our husbands and our children, and most especially the Bazaar Committee, its leaders and its volunteers. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this bazaar a success. All proceeds will benefit our Parish and CWL Charities! It was good to see the community come together once again! It was indeed a happy day to celebrate our oneness as a community! To God be the Glory!
