In today’s Gospel the apostles ask Jesus, ‘Lord, increase our faith.’ Faith is essential to the Christian mission. With the little faith we have, if we ask God to increase it and multiply it, not by our efforts but through Him we will be able to move mountains. But we must not glory in it or what it allows us to achieve. We must remember that we are only servants of God and whatever work we do for the Kingdom is our duty. The first reading emphasizes the importance of faithful work despite the apparent triumph of evil. The faithless will eventually lose heart and their enterprises will perish but God will save and bring to successful completion what is begun and carried out in faith.

Many thanks to all who helped to make our Fall 2022 ‘BUNDLE UP’ a reasonable success despite the pandemic & weather. To Father Francis for his public announcements and support; to our volunteers of five energetic & enthusiastic students (Isabelle, Amare, Daniel, Kaelan, Lucas and Marvin); and especially to our fellow parishioners who filled the bin. With apologies to all who attempted to contribute after closing hours, we ask that everyone make note that our next collection is scheduled for: April 29th &30th 2023.
