REFLECTION
The ten lepers caught Jesus’ attention by a simple cry of faith. They obeyed his command and received healing. But only one, a despised Samaritan, returned shouting praises to God; he knelt to Jesus and thanked Him. The other nine had also been cured but it was this marginalized Samaritan who expressed gratitude and this led him to a more profound relationship with Jesus. This Thanksgiving weekend let us reflect on all the ways we ought to thank Jesus and express our praise and gratitude to Him, the source of our healing, provision and joy.
