REFLECTION

Today’s Gospel reminds us that resolving conflict requires more than speaking the truth. It calls us to listen with humility, act with mercy, and seek peace. When we gather in love and sincerely desire the good of all, Christ is present among us. May we have the courage to speak honestly, the grace to listen, and the wisdom to choose forgiveness over resentment.

BEFORE YOU FIX YOUR WEDDING DATE

Thinking about doing your wedding in the Church? Great move! The way to go is to call the parish office and schedule an appointment with the priest at least 12 months before your desired wedding date. It is a requirement in the Catholic Archdiocese of Toronto.

Hoping for the best for you as you process and make this important life-long decision

Baby Bottle for Life Campaign

Thank you to all the Parishioners of Saint Joseph for your donations of $ 6,010.20 in the recently conducted Baby Bottle for Life

Campaign by the pro-life organization Aid to Women. It is a generous display of love that has allowed us to purchase more strollers, car seats, clothing, diapers…. whatever our courageous
mums and their babies need as we support them for the first two years of their child’s life. Aid to Women counsels abortion minded women, in a non-judgmental manner, to do what they know in their hearts is right and say yes to life. Your generosity has gladdened the heart of God in helping to save the most vulnerable of his souls…the unborn.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: RELIGIOUS ED.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age"

We are all called to be disciples and make disciples. In support of this mission we offer Religious Education to children between the ages of 8-18 who do not attend a Catholic school or who need catechetical preparation for the Sacraments of Initiation including Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation.
