EDGE celebrates HOLY-Ween

On October 27th EDGE celebrated HOLY-Ween, the “Hallowedness of Hallowe’en. Dressed as Saints, we prepared for All Saint’s Day by praying and carving:

“Dear God as we cut open these pumpkins, open our minds, so we can learn new things about the world You created. As we remove the seeds, remove the things in our lives that don’t please You. As we carve the mouth, let everything we say please You…”

With Pumpkin lanterns in hand, we visited the cemetery, prayed for the souls of the dead. After we feasted on Dirt Pudding Cemetery and fresh roasted Pumpkin Seeds. To conclude this fun evening we sang “Litany of the Saints”.

The enthusiasm of our participants is inspirational.
