REFLECTION
Today’s Gospel reminds us that Jesus calls and empowers his disciples to share in his compassionate mission. The Apostles are sent to heal the sick and proclaim God’s presence, revealing that Christ invites us to participate in his work, even when we feel weak or inadequate. Human limitations and moments of suffering often make us feel vulnerable and alone, yet Jesus walks with us and strengthens us. The Church continues this mission, offering companionship, encouragement, and support through its community. In times of difficulty, we are reminded that we are never alone. Christ meets us in our struggles and calls us to trust in his presence, while supporting one another with faith, hope, and love.

DID YOU KNOW
| Jesus' first response to people who are "harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd" is compassion, not condemnation? | |
| St. Francis of Assis believed that before we can bring people to Christ, we must first learn to see them with Christ's compassionate eyes? | |
| Every baptized Catholic is called to be a laborer in God's harvest, not merely a spectator in the Church? |
