Confirmation

Confirmation means accepting responsibility for your faith and your destiny. The focus is on the Holy Spirit, who confirmed the apostles on Pentecost and gave them courage to practice their faith.

The same Holy Spirit confirms Catholics during the Sacrament of Confirmation and gives them the same gifts and fruits.

Everyone desiring to receive this holy Sacrament must go through the following necessary procedures.

Confirmation Preparation Classes

The Confirmation Preparation Course in use is entitled “The Mark” — an interesting, easy to understand, and family-friendly experience.

This 6-session online course will be accessible to the participants and released one session at a time based on the schedule below. Each 20-30 minute session will begin with a prayer, followed by a talk regarding an aspect of confirmation, and then finished with a personal testimony.

Each session will have 3 questions to be submitted online and which the parish office will receive. The parish office will also be able to track your progress. Ideally, participants should have finished the previous session before the release of the next session.

Each participant will be provided a link via the email they provided in the Registration form.  If you have more than one family member receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation, please provide each of them with a different email address to use.

Please call the Parish Office at 416.282.0370 for any questions or access problems.
