REFLECTION
Today the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, reminding us of a gift that never fades: the Eucharist. Jesus gave us his very self, present to us in a way we can receive. The Scriptures this Sunday begin with a simple command: Remember. Moses urged the people to remember how God saved and sustained them. Jesus echoes that call at the Last Supper: “Do this in memory of me.” We are called to remember God’s love, his sacrifice, his mercy, and his promise of eternal life. Just as God fed the Israelites in the desert, Christ now feeds us with something far greater. “I am the living bread that came down from heaven,” he tells us. “Whoever eats this bread will live forever.” This feast reminds us that Christ continues to give himself to us in the Eucharist, he remains close to us, walking with us through our struggles and joys. He knows our burdens and never leaves us alone. Let us give thanks for this extraordinary gift that nourishes, sustains, and endures.

BEFORE YOU FIX YOUR WEDDING DATE
Thinking about doing your wedding in the Church? Great move! The way to go is to call the parish office and schedule an appointment with the priest at least 12 months before your desired wedding date. It is a requirement in the Catholic Archdiocese of Toronto.
Hoping for the best for you as you process and make this important life-long decision
notice
On June 6 & 7, a group will be visiting our Parish offering beautiful, handcrafted olive wood religious articles from the Holy Land. Proceeds will help our starving brothers and sisters in Jerusalem and Bethlehem, putting food on their tables and supporting their Christian presence in the land of Jesus’ birth during this brutal war. Your support through the purchase of these items is a direct way to show solidarity and care for our fellow Christians in need. Accepted methods of payment include Visa, Mastercard, Debit, and Cash.
Baby Bottle Returns Reminder
The pro-life organization Aid to Women conducted a Baby Bottle for Life fund raising campaign at Saint Joseph’s at the weekend Masses on May 9 and 10. We ask that you kindly return your filled baby bottle with your donations at any of the weekend Masses June 20 and 21. Aid to Women thanks all the good people of Saint Joseph’s for their help in allowing them to continue their very important ministry of converting the hearts of women who are considering abortion, to choose life instead.
