REFLECTION
“You’re not the boss of me!” We hear these words often, especially when someone feels misunderstood or pushed in the wrong direction. We resist being led when we sense that the person guiding us doesn’t truly know us, doesn’t listen, or may lead us astray. Deep down, we long for someone who truly understands us, someone who hears the quiet cries of our hearts, who stands at our side without judgment, and who doesn’t mock or belittle us for trying to do what is right. And when we stumble, we need someone who lifts us up gently, removes our shame, and helps us return to the beautiful selves God created us to be. Today we celebrate the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, the One who is exactly this for us. Christ is the King who knows what it is to be mocked and rejected, yet responds with humble courage. He knows our hearts completely and shows us the path to Paradise. Christ is the perfect King—the One who guides, protects, and restores us. May we always let Him be the Lord of our lives.

CWL - THANK YOU
The Catholic Women’s League of St. Joseph’s Parish extends its appreciation and gratitude to the Parish Community, our family, friends, KofC and the many CWL sisters in the League who worked tirelessly and contributed to a very successful Christmas Bazaar held on November 15, 2025. A big THANK YOU to all of you! It is because of your generous contributions and hard work that we continue to serve and support our Parish and our many charities. God bless you all!
Friends of the Grotto – Keep It Beautiful!
With the completion of the Grotto in our parish, the parish is now inviting you to consider joining “Friends of the Grotto” (parish volunteers). This means committing to help with the Grotto’s ongoing seasonal care and maintenance e.g. clearing of leaves, snow and other weather-related debris that may accumulate around the statue as well as the tidying up of flowers that have been left behind. If you are interested and would like to volunteer your time, please submit your name and contact information to the parish office.
