REFLECTION

The Baptism of the Lord reminds us of the call to “let go and let God.” Though sinless, Jesus humbly submits to baptism, revealing his full humanity and complete trust in the Father’s will. His baptism foreshadows the cross and shows us that fulfilling God’s will often requires surrender, even when it is difficult. In Jesus’ obedience, we learn how to trust God in our own trials and are reminded that, through him, we too are God’s beloved, with whom He is well pleased

2026 DONATION ENVELOPES

The 2026 donation envelopes are available in the Narthex for pick up. Please be patient and ensure you are picking up your own box.

Please help us return those boxes that are not yours to their original spots to save everyone’s time. We thank you for you generosity and for following and respecting this guideline.

Let us pray for the sick members of our parish, asking God to grant them healing, comfort, and peace. We also pray for those who love them and minister to them, that they may be strengthened with patience, compassion, and hope

The Good Shepherd Provide-a-Meal Program Needs You!

Thank you to all who have been participating in the Good Shepherd Provide-a-Meal Program! To anyone interested in joining—welcome! The casseroles we prepare help feed those in need at the Good Shepherd Refuge on Queen Street East in downtown Toronto. How the Program Works

  • We provide you with a casserole container and recipe.
  • Pick up your container and recipe from the parish office during business hours, along with the drop-off schedule.
  • Prepare the same meal once per month—and keep some for your family, it’s delicious!
  • Drop off your casserole on the scheduled dates between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m. after the Saturday morning Mass at the west parking lot. When you drop off, pick up an empty container for next time. That’s it!

Important Update on Parish Envelope Numbers

Due to rising costs and decreased envelope use, envelope numbers will be reassigned effective in year 2027. Beginning in 2027, envelope numbers will be reassigned annually to help us use resources wisely. Unused envelope boxes will be reassigned, and boxes will not be issued the following year if they are not used.

If you donate through Pre-Authorized Giving (PAG), please consider switching to a boxless number. Your donations will continue to be tracked by number, without the cost of envelope boxes. “2nd Collections only” envelopes can also be provided if needed.

If you have any questions, please contact us at 416-282-0370.

tiptap

TipTap is now up and running! This easy-to-use contactless donation system is available in the Narthex entrance doors, East entrance doors and West entrance doors .
