REFLECTION

In today’s Gospel, we witness the immediate response of the apostles to Jesus’ call. Recognizing the voice of the living God, they leave their nets without hesitation. Their “yes” becomes a channel of grace, first filling their own hearts, then flowing outward to others. True discipleship always moves outward. As the prayer attributed to St. Francis reminds us, “It is in giving that we receive.” By following Christ’s voice, loving even our enemies, and staying faithful to the path of holiness, we are sustained by the Holy Spirit and strengthened by the communion of saints. We know where this road leads. By staying the course and listening to Jesus who calls us, we are guided toward our final destination which is eternal life.

office of vocations

“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” Are you willing to proclaim the coming of the kingdom as a priest, deacon, brother or sister? If God is calling you, contact Fr. Matt McCarthy, Director of Vocations, Archdiocese of Toronto at 416-968-0997. Email: vocations@archtoronto.org

2026 DONATION ENVELOPES

The 2026 donation envelopes are available in the Narthex for pick up. Please be patient and ensure you are picking up your own box.

Please help us return those boxes that are not yours to their original spots to save everyone’s time. We thank you for you generosity and for following and respecting this guideline.

Important Update on Parish Envelope Numbers

Due to rising costs and decreased envelope use, envelope numbers will be reassigned effective in year 2027. Beginning in 2027, envelope numbers will be reassigned annually to help us use resources wisely. Unused envelope boxes will be reassigned, and boxes will not be issued the following year if they are not used.

If you donate through Pre-Authorized Giving (PAG), please consider switching to a boxless number. Your donations will continue to be tracked by number, without the cost of envelope boxes. “2nd Collections only” envelopes can also be provided if needed.

If you have any questions, please contact us at 416-282-0370.

tiptap

TipTap is now up and running! This easy-to-use contactless donation system is available in the Narthex entrance doors, East entrance doors and West entrance doors .

Your generosity helps support our parish and now giving is more convenient than ever. For more details please visit the parish website. Thank you for your continued support!
