REFLECTION
Jesus teaches from a gentle hillside overlooking the Sea of Galilee, where neighbors and friends gather and sit together on the grass. In this peaceful setting, he speaks to ordinary people about ordinary life, proclaiming the Beatitudes and revealing God’s vision for the world. His words speak directly to hearts burdened by fear, injustice, and uncertainty, offering hope through humility, mercy, and compassion. Today, we are invited to listen as they did and to live the Beatitudes in our own time. By choosing kindness, justice, and trust in God, we help bring Christ’s vision to life and build a community where peace can take root and no one is left in fear.

Let us pray for the sick members of our parish, asking God to grant them healing, comfort, and peace. We also pray for those who love them and minister to them, that they may be strengthened with patience, compassion, and hope.
Year End Report for 2025 – St Joseph’s Highland Creek Conference
In 2025 we did 264 home visits helping 88 families, with 133 children and 221 adults. Your ‘Neighbours-In-Need’ donations were $32749 and our expenditures were $36040. We started the year with $1591 in cash & $8113 in gift cards. We ended the year with a surplus of $299 in cash & $7967 in gift cards. The value of the ‘Gifts-in-Kind’ donated this year was $2000. Your generosity is gratefully acknowledged, thank you. Income tax receipts will be mailed out next week. The full report is posted on the church’s website and on the bulletin boards with handouts at the back of the church.

CWL ORDINANDI SPIRITUAL BOUQUET
The CWL invites all parishioners to contribute to our Annual Collection of prayers, Adorations, Rosaries etc. for the intentions of our soon to be ordained priests. These gifts of prayer and support will be presented at the Annual Ordinandi Dinner on March 24, 2026. If you are interested please see the sisters of the CWL after the weekend Masses on February 7-8 in the Narthex. No donation is needed—just your time spent in prayer for the men preparing for the priesthood. Thank you for your support and participation.
