REFLECTION

Ushering in the holiest week, Palm Sunday illuminates our journey. Jesus Christ enters Jerusalem to acclaim on a humble donkey, knowing this triumph begins his Passion. We join the celebration, waving palms and singing with joy. The tone quickly shifts to sorrow: the suffering servant, the cry from the Cross, and the reading of his Passion. Our hearts resist this, for it is not how our Savior or our lives should unfold. Yet this is our human experience. Light gives way to loss, hope to grief. Even in desolation, Jesus’ trust in the Father never faltered. In joy or hardship, we are called to keep our eyes on our Redeemer, who guides us to eternal life.

notice

There will be no Mass in our parish on Tuesday, March 31. This is because all the priests in our archdiocese, including the priests serving in our parish, will be attending the Chrism Mass at the Cathedral, in preparation for the Holy Week and Easter celebrations. Please note this date on your calendar and plan accordingly.
