REFLECTION
In today’s Gospel, we are reminded that the call to follow Christ is both a gift and a challenge. Jesus invites us to take up our cross and to walk in His ways, even when the path is not easy. True love, as taught by Christ, is not always comfortable. It calls us to selflessness, to sacrifice, and to place God and others before ourselves. This kind of love leads us beyond our own desires and opens our hearts to the deeper life that God offers. Each day, the Lord renews His invitation to us. He calls us to respond with faith, trust, and generosity. When we accept this call, we grow in holiness and become witnesses of His love in the world. May we ask for the grace this week to follow the Lord more closely, and to live with hearts open to His will.
